100 Women Strong

100 Women Strong gathers 100+ community members, asking each person or group to donate $100. The money is pooled and donated to a local nonprofit selected by the contributing parties during a celebratory gathering. At each gathering, three nonprofits are invited to present their purpose, mission, and impact. Everyone who has donated and is in attendance will place their vote; all donations up to $10,000 will go to the awarded organization, with the remaining funds split between the other two. We invite you to join us in contributing to this innovative effort and amplify your individual impact through collective giving!

Where Do We Go From Here

Where do we go from here at Caspar Community Center on Tuesday, May 14, from 5 to 7 pm.

Make way for a menagerie of forest critters as they present a zoological spectacle of climatic proportions. ‘The Real’ Smokey Bear, Hooty the Owl and Bennie Bark Beetle present masterful acts of anthropocene mockery. Humanfolk both young and old, bear your teeth, clap your paws and roll around in the dirt as you objectify and cackle like coyotes at the cute vitriol of your animal friends as they present ‘Where Do We Go From Here’! Brunch with Margaret

You know the old saying, “You can’t go home again”? We beg to differ. . . For one glorious morning, you can have not just a taste of the past, but rather a meal of the most delicious and satisfying nostalgia.

Whether during the last millennium you ate breakfast at Cafe Beaujolais every morning before work, or indulged in Caffe Fantasia and Buttermilk Cinnamon Coffeecake when you were cutting school, or wandered in on the weekend when you had just discovered this magical area, or for any other reason . . . you were gifted its cookbooks, you’d read about it in Gourmet magazine or the New York Times, you came as a very young child and have wisps of Beauj waffles and memories you’d like to recapture. . .

This is your chance to fast forward almost 50 years and have that experience again.

~Margaret
